School Swimming Sports

On Monday we are having our school swimming sports at Nayland Pool.  We are travelling there and back by bus.  You will need to bring the following things on Monday morning:

*Your togs & 2 towels in a bag
*Your hat (and sunglasses if you wish)
*Morning tea, lunch and a drink
*Sunscreen

Students are allowed to wear their PE gear over their swimming togs to travel to and from the pool.

Kotuku Cup

Congratulations to Sean, our week 3 winner of the Kotuku Cup!  Sean receives the trophy for his excellent listening skills, making good choices in and out of the classroom and effort in his school work.  Well done Sean!

Kotuku Cup

Congratulations to Agnes for receiving the first Kotuku cup prize!  Agnes got the trophy for her high standard of work this week and her excellent attitude towards her learning.  Agnes received an award, $2 Kotuku money and she gets to keep the trophy at home over the weekend.

Valentine's Day

We hope you have a great Valentine's day on Saturday :) We enjoyed making our "Yoda Best" Valentines today!  The light sabers are sherbet.

Mice to Meet You and Namebows!

I have enjoyed meeting you Kotuku class on Thursday and today.  What a wonderful year we are going to have!  

Kotuku class have been busy today finishing their Rainbow Namebows.  Each namebow is an acrostic poem of the student's name and uses words that describe their personality.  They are now hanging in our classroom.  You are most welcome to come and admire them :)
